Local chefs compete for the honour of winning several events held throughout the course of one of the island’s newer culinary events. Guests can sample Caribbean food paired with wine from around the world and give their opinion on the outcome.
T&C Music & Cultural Festival
July/August
For a week at the end of July and the beginning of August, the Turks and Caicos Music and Cultural Festival brings live soul, hip hop, and R&B music to the islands. Other events include a beauty pageant and a festival of booths set up to honour cultural entities, such as food and dress.
Annual TCI Conch Festival
Early November
The Blue Hills area of Providenciales celebrates the conch each November with an all-day event called the Turks and Caicos Conch Festival. Festivities include a sloop sailing race, conch tasting contest, conch blowing contest, live music, food, and fun.
Chocolate Lovers Showcase
February
A 15-minute walk from Villa Renaissance takes you to this delicious fundraising event featuring a silent auction. The Chocolate Lovers Showcase is typically held at the Regent Palms Courtyard sometime in February.
